If you still have questions, check out the FAQs below. If your question isn't answered, or you would like more advice and help with any aspect of your bookkeeping, why not get in touch?
I already have an accountant, so why do I need Bookkeeping Intelligence?
We're not here to replace your accountant. We leave the tasks of taxation and auditing to them while we carry out the bookkeeping functions we specialise in. We deliver cost-effective services and deliver accurate, detailed and straightforward reports and files which you or your accountant can use.
How do you work?
Firstly, we'll meet to discuss your requirements. Then you can simply provide us with your paperwork, things such as bank statements, sales invoices, purchase invoices and receipts. We can either work from your office if you have your own software or you can supply us with your paperwork and we can complete the bookkeeping on our software. You can send your documents to us by post, scan them and email them to us or share them electronically; whatever is easiest for you.
How do you charge?
Our aim is to provide you with an exceptional yet cost-effective service. All our services are tailored to suit your exact requirements. You decide how much or how little support you require and then we agree on a fee. We work with both fixed fees and hourly rates, depending on your needs. We find fixed fees often work well as you know exactly what you are paying for at the outset and can budget for this more easily. Initially, outsourcing your bookkeeping can seem like a daunting prospect. Very quickly you'll discover that working with Bookkeeping Intelligence will bring nothing but benefits.
What hours do you work?
We work flexible hours to fit in around you being able to continue to run your business and always do our best to deal with your queries or requests as quickly as possible. We enable our clients to contact us any days or times either by phone or email to help with any questions or queries.
How are you regulated?
Bookkeeping Intelligence is licensed to practice with the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers (ICB). This means we are supervised by the ICB for money laundering regulations and have to comply with the Money Laundering Regulations 2007. Paul Maddison is also a member of the ICB which makes him a certified Bookkeeper with the ICB.
My bookkeeping hasn't been done for a while, can you still help?
